It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Nope, not Christmas, National Afternoon Tea Week. A whole seven days filled with cakes, sandwiches, scones and delicious drinks. Half a fortnight of classiness. Quarter of a month of stuffing your face with delights. What could be better?

To celebrate this huge calendar date, we’ve put together a list of the best afternoon teas in Liverpool. Get your teapots out!

The Vincent Cafe

Forget London and The Ritz, there are two (two!) very unique afternoon teas available at this Liverpudlian gem. Not only can you feast on a traditional afternoon tea menu, but there’s an Asian afternoon tea too. With a selection of sushi and Asian treats, with a cocktail thrown in, this one is not to be missed. Relax in opulent decor and a smart-casual dress code: this is a great spot to while away an afternoon.
