Dimmi started life in 2009

Since 2009, Dimmi has licenced the ResDiary platform to power its restaurant reservation engine. This caters for reservations made through the Dimmi consumer portal, online bookings from the restaurant's website and Facebook pages and internal reservations made directly by the venue.

Dimmi also licences the following additional ResDiary APIs:

Reservation API to power restaurant bookings through its affiliate relationships with Qantas, Zomato (formerly UrbanSpoon), Yelp, Google, Time Out and TripAdvisor.

EPOS API and data extraction service to power interfaces with Ordermate, Idealpos, Micros, Posera, Impos and MyGuestList.com.

Acquired by TripAdvisor

In May 2015 Dimmi was acquired by TripAdvisor who in the previous year had obtained the French restaurant reservation system, La Fourchette (aka The Fork or El Tenador).

Dimmi continues to use ResDiary to power its services, and those for its affiliates, including TripAdvisor.
