ResDiary in Australia

Thousands of restaurants in Australia benefit from using ResDiary through TheFork, which utilises ResDiary software to power reservations.

Previously Dimmi, now TheFork

Since 2009, Dimmi licenced the ResDiary platform to power its restaurant reservation engine. This catered for reservations made through the Dimmi consumer portal, online bookings from the restaurant’s website and Facebook pages and internal reservations made directly by the venue. Following purchase by TripAdvisor, in May 2015 who also purchased French reservation system TheFork in May 2014, Dimmi was rebranded to TheFork in 2019. However, the original arrangement continues and ResDiary is still the back-end software of choice for TheFork users in Australia.

TheFork also licences the following additional ResDiary APIs:

Zomato (formerly UrbanSpoon), Yelp, Google, Time Out and TripAdvisor.

EPOS API and data extraction service to power interfaces with Ordermate, Idealpos, Micros, Posera, Impos, and MyGuestList.com.
