Google has recently announced a new feature, Google Posts, and it’s a game-changer for restaurant reservations.
You can now add a reservations link to your Google Business listing, allowing customers to take commission-free bookings via ResDiary, directly from the Google homepage
Many businesses like London Steakhouse Co, above, use ResDiary as their main reservation system but also list on some other third party sites. They’ve been trying to drive bookings directly from Google to ResDiary, rather than commission charging sites for a long time, but have been unable to.
With the new Google Posts feature, their ResDiary Reserve button sits under their business listing. Businesses can add an image, catching the eye of potential diners and directing them to a commission-free way to make a booking.
It even looks great on mobile devices, standing out on the small screen.
It’s a fantastic tool, but it can be a little complicated to set up. Which is why our lovely support and training team have offered to do it for you.
All you need to do is fill in this form and the team will set it up for you.
