DishCult has had an update

We’ve listened to your feedback and made some improvements.

We’ve really valued all of your feedback during the soft launch  of Dish Cult : ResDiary’s brand new booking website and app, especially curated for food lovers all across the UK. It’s been vital to help us make improvements to both the website and app.

Changes to the website

  • The main banner image display has been optimised. Now you can create an impact by uploading a banner image and up to 29 additional images. Read our image guidelines on the DishCult FAQs to get the best restults.
  • Users can now edit their reservation – we have added this option to the confirmation page.
  • Cancellations just got clearer – with new updated wording
  • Users will now be presented with a Group marketing opt-in option, when making a reservation at a venue that is part of a group.
  • We have created a new leave a review page.


Changes to the App

  • We have upated the Android app, to now  support menu pdfs.
  • A number of improvements have been made to the Search functionality including location updates, enabling availability search, and optimsing the “My List” button.
  • The reservation journey has also been improved. We have increased the Tap area on buttons to improve the user experience – particularly when search for “available options” .
  • How certain items were displaying on the app has been fixes including terms and conditions, privacy policies, and long promo names.
  • A fix has been implemented to prevent diners from editing or canceling their booking after the cut off time set by the venue.

A number of UX improvements have been made for ios users. These include:

  • A brand new back button has been added for users when creating a social account.
  • We have improved the country code picker behaviour.
  • A Terms and Privacy checkbox  has been added to social sign up screen.
  • The forgot password button, and resend email verification buttons, are now fixed and working.
