Sales Team Lead ANZ 

 

Role Start: April/May 2021

FT/PT:This role is full time and permanent.

Location: We require the candidate to be Sydney/Melbourne based. This role will require a combination of working from home and shared office space, with travel required within your sales territory and surrounding areas for onsite customer meetings.

About the role


You’ll line in to the Head of Sales Australia & New Zealand, and will be responsible for the management and development of a territory sales team. You’ll be accountable for sales KPIs and team targets, and will be focused on implementing and delivering the sales strategy, company vision and goals. It’s an exciting opportunity to be part of the team driving the launch of a market leading SaaS company into Australia!

 

Primary Responsibilities of the role


  • Achieving both personal and team KPIs and targets
  • Assisting the Head of Sales with the implementation and delivery of the territory sales strategy
  • Monitoring the sales pipeline and lead tracking process
  • Identifying emerging market trends and shifts
  • Identifying key areas for improvement in the sales process
  • Recruitment, development, performance management and succession planning activities
  • Ensuring your team are empowered, motivated and performing effectively
  • Creating and delivering the sales training program for new team members
  • Ensuring all administration for sales is completed effectively
  • Regular reporting to Head of Sales
  • Continuous development of departmental SOPs

 Experience & competencies:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in related Sales Management Role
  • Minimum of 3 years of operations experience at a manager level in the hospitality industry, preferably in the food and beverage sector
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Positive, resilient and approachable
  • Supports, coaches and develops team members
  • Encourages and empowers the team to achieve a shared vision
  • Communicates clearly and consistently to ensure a common understanding
  • Builds the team and manages performance to achieve goals
