Indian restaurants in Manchester: our favourites

The flavours oscillate between spicy, savoury and sweet; the textures fuse to make liquid heaven and the bread accompaniments are doughy and delicious.  I think we can all agree that Indian food is positively divine and if you don’t agree well you should “tikka” good look at yourself….we jest of course. We travelled to Manchester home to some of the best curry houses in the country to bring you our picks of the best Indian restaurants you need to try “raita” way.

Indian Tiffin Room

The Indian Tiffin Room was born after two southern Indian students, Suresh Raje Urs and Srini Sundaram travelled around Manchester in a vibrant food truck serving up their genius dishes to the masses. It was clear the public wanted more which led to their expansion. An amalgamation of dishes from all over the bustling streets of India, the menu offers finger lickin’ Thali’s (mini buffet on a plate), delicious dosa’s (rice pancakes) amongst Indo-Chinese food and so much more.
