New reports are here!

Are you fanatical about figures? Rabid for reports? Daft for data? You’re going to love our latest release. ResDiary reports are great, but we felt it was time for a bit of an update. You’re all busy people so we’ve made them faster and simpler to access with more intuitive ways of finding the data you need.

The new ResDiary reports are now live and exportable. The old reports will be removed by 31st March so make sure you familiarise yourself with the new ones before then!

Highlights include:

  • Booking Source report: we’ve removed the old report and now you can get the same information, faster, via the Summary Report. Simply go to Reports – Booking Summary – Group by Channel – Sub Group by Visit Date.  See the guide
  • Bookings Report: the old report is gone but you can get to the improved one by going to Reports – Booking Report – Booking Details. Then you can filter by Covers and see covers over, under, matching, or between the numbers you pick. Simple.  See the guide
  • Daily Summary: where previously, you could only filter your daily summary by tables or service, you can now drill down into areas, covers, time, name, and much more. Get there through Reports – Booking Report and choosing if you’d like Details or a Summary. Add the various filters for the information you need. Voila! See the guide
  • No-shows report: do you want to know when customers cancel most, what cover sizes no-show most, what the worst no-show times are? No problem. The old way has been retired but you can access the information from Cancellation Report, and filter by Cancellation Reasons – no-show. Then group by Date and Table and then include Total Spend. Add filters, Date, Time, Customer name, Email, Tables, Covers, Total Spend, and Venue and sort by Name. All your no-show info in one place. See the guide
  • Booked Hours: see how long your customers sit in your venue with this report. The old Booked Hours report will disappear soon, but just head to Reports – Booking Report – Summary Report. Then group by Visit Date and Service.  See the guide

And that’s not all. Create your own reports using the multitude of filters and groupings available, letting you know exactly what’s happening in your business. Don’t be scared to play around and discover information that could help the running of your venue.
